These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanSnap™ website and the purchase of products from CleanSnap™. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Company Information
CleanSnap™ operates within the Republic of South Africa and complies with applicable South African legislation, including but not limited to:
- Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA")
- Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA")
- Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA")
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
- All information provided to CleanSnap™ is accurate, current and complete.
3. Product Information
CleanSnap™ makes every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, photographs, colours and pricing are accurate.
However:
- Product colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and manufacturing tolerances.
- Product packaging may differ slightly from images displayed online.
- Product dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturing processes.
- Product photographs are for illustrative purposes only.
Minor cosmetic differences shall not constitute defects.
4. Product Availability
All products are sold subject to availability.
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to:
- Limit quantities purchased.
- Refuse unusually large orders.
- Discontinue products without notice.
- Substitute packaging where necessary.
- Cancel orders due to stock shortages.
If payment has already been received for an unavailable product, a refund will be issued for the unavailable item.
5. Pricing
All prices displayed are in South African Rand (ZAR).
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to change prices without notice.
Pricing errors may occasionally occur due to technical or human error. In such cases CleanSnap™ reserves the right to:
- Cancel affected orders.
- Refund payments received.
- Request customer confirmation before processing the order at the correct price.
6. Payment
Payment must be received in full before orders are processed or dispatched.
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to:
- Refuse transactions;
- Delay dispatch pending payment verification;
- Cancel orders suspected of fraud or abuse.
Ownership of goods remains with CleanSnap™ until payment has been received in full.
7. Delivery
Estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery dates.
CleanSnap™ shall not be liable for delays resulting from:
- Courier delays;
- Public holidays;
- Extreme weather conditions;
- Strikes;
- Civil unrest;
- Load shedding;
- Customs inspections;
- Supplier delays;
- Events beyond our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery at the delivery address supplied during checkout.
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate and accessible.
Additional delivery costs resulting from incorrect information may be charged to the customer.
8. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers are encouraged to inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.
Claims relating to:
- Missing items;
- Incorrect products;
- Delivery damage;
should be reported within 72 hours of delivery where reasonably possible.
This requirement does not limit any statutory rights under South African law.
9. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by the CleanSnap™ Return and Refund Policy and applicable South African legislation.
Due to hygiene considerations, CleanSnap™ may refuse returns of:
- Opened refill head packs;
- Used replacement heads;
- Used handles;
- Products exposed to contamination or use.
This limitation does not apply to defective goods covered under the Consumer Protection Act.
10. Six-Month CPA Warranty
Consumers retain all rights afforded by Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act regarding defective goods.
Where products are found to be defective due to manufacturing faults, customers may be entitled to:
- Repair;
- Replacement;
- Refund;
subject to applicable legislation.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper storage, negligence, modification or unauthorised alterations is excluded.
11. Intended Use
CleanSnap™ products are intended solely for normal household toilet cleaning purposes.
Customers agree not to use products:
- For commercial industrial cleaning applications;
- In ways inconsistent with product instructions;
- For purposes not intended by the manufacturer.
CleanSnap™ shall not be liable for injury, damage or loss resulting from misuse or unintended use.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, CleanSnap™ shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages;
- Consequential damages;
- Loss of profits;
- Loss of income;
- Loss of business opportunities;
- Business interruption losses;
- Emotional distress claims;
- Loss of goodwill;
- Data loss;
- Delays caused by third parties.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, CleanSnap™'s maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
13. Third-Party Services
CleanSnap™ uses third-party providers including:
- Payment processors;
- Courier companies;
- Website hosting providers;
- Marketing platforms.
CleanSnap™ shall not be liable for interruptions, failures or damages caused by third-party service providers beyond our reasonable control.
14. Website Availability
CleanSnap™ does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.
The website may be suspended, updated or modified without notice for:
- Maintenance;
- Security updates;
- Technical issues;
- Operational requirements.
15. Intellectual Property
All website content including but not limited to:
- Logos;
- Product names;
- Images;
- Videos;
- Product descriptions;
- Graphics;
- Branding;
- Marketing materials;
- Website design elements;
remain the exclusive property of CleanSnap™.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written consent.
The following trademarks are proprietary intellectual property of CleanSnap™:

16. Promotional Offers
Promotions, discounts, bundles and coupon codes:
- Cannot be combined unless expressly stated;
- May be withdrawn without notice;
- Are subject to stock availability.
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to cancel promotions resulting from technical or pricing errors.
17. Fraud Prevention
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to:
- Verify customer information;
- Request identification documents;
- Delay or cancel suspicious transactions;
- Refuse service where fraudulent activity is suspected.
Fraudulent transactions may be reported to the relevant authorities.
18. Account Suspension
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services where customers:
- Engage in fraudulent conduct;
- Abuse refund systems;
- Threaten staff;
- Attempt chargeback fraud;
- Misuse promotional offers.
19. Force Majeure
CleanSnap™ shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters;
- Fires;
- Floods;
- Power failures;
- Cyber attacks;
- Government actions;
- Civil unrest;
- Labour disputes;
- Supplier failures.
20. Privacy and POPIA
Personal information collected by CleanSnap™ is processed in accordance with POPIA.
Information may be used for:
- Processing orders;
- Customer support;
- Fraud prevention;
- Delivery fulfilment;
- Marketing communications where consent has been provided.
21. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
23. Amendments
CleanSnap™ reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
